INSTRUCTIONS

1. Print out the template of the stars, spaceships and planet shapes onto cardstock or paper and cut them out. Print out extra stars to help fill out the garland.

2. Colour in the printed-out space shapes and planets.

3. Colour in the spaceship template and wrap it around the Kinder Surprise toy barrel halfway and glue in the marked area. Colour in the spaceship wings and glue it to the printed wrap to create spaceships. 

4. Using a marker or pencil, mark a 2 cm wide border on the right and left of the wooden stick.

5. Cut out around ten pieces of thread all measuring around 70cm in length. 

6. Divide the inner 36 cm into nine equal areas and tape one thread to each area.

7. Lay your stick on the floor and begin your placement of all your space pieces, then tape these to the designated thread space to create your planet garland!
